What is CTF Talk?

It’s a place where you can freely discuss ongoing CTFs. Ask for hints, share your progress or just chat with other players.

Why does CTF Talk exist?

CTF players sometimes get stuck for hours on a challenge and can’t ask for help on the CTF platform. That’s why we created CTF Talk.

Can I write a solution for a challenge?

Yes, you can! If it’s allowed by the CTF platform, you can write a solution for a challenge.

What about Hack The Box?

HTB does not allow writing solutions for active machines, as it’s prohibited by their rules. So, you can’t write solutions for active machines, but you can discuss an active machine, ask for hints, and share your progress.

Can I share flags?

No, you can’t and you shouldn’t. Sharing flags is against the rules of most CTFs and our community guidelines.
